This was the very first thing I did when I got to Oaxaca, and it was 10/10 worth the experience. I tried foods I never would've tried before, and enjoyed the tour from start to finish. Lupita is a great guide, charismatic, professional, and very knowledgeable. I'd recommend this tour to anyone coming to Oaxaca.

The best free food tour while you’re in Oaxaca. Our guide was so so sweet and showed us everything from sweets, beverages, chapulines (grasshoppers) to more traditional dishes. We even got to visit the smoke alley. I would also highly recommend doing this tour on the first day of your stay in Oaxaca as you get to know al the best places. Also for solo travellers this is a great wat to get in contact with other travellers. Highly recommend!
