Miljan

This tour was a great way to explore Budva’s Old Town, learning about the city’s history and archaeological sites. While Miljan's English could be a bit difficult to understand at times, we could really feel his love for his city and its archaeological heritage. The only thing we felt was missing was more information about Montenegro’s relationship with its neighboring countries, such as the separation from Serbia and the conflict with Bosnia and Herzegovina—it would have been interesting to hear the Montenegrin perspective. These are just suggestions, though. Overall, the tour was good, and we really appreciate that Miljan didn’t cancel it, even though we were the only ones there. The guided tour of the old town of Budva with Miljan was perfect, you can tell he's a passionate person and his explanations were very clear and detailed, it was very interesting. And thank you again for taking the tour even though I was the only one registered that day, I really appreciated it. I highly recommend!

With Budva being small, the old town has limited sites of interest. That said, Miljan did a good job of pointing out things that would not be obvious to the casual observer. His pride in his heritage and his passion for architecture and history shone through.

TAKE THIS TOUR! By far the best tour I have had in my 7.5 weeks of travel so far! Millán was personable, incredibly knowledgeable adaptable. It was an absolute pleasure!!
