CIAO. Sono Joan e vivo a Mombasa da più di 10 anni e so molto della cultura. Una cosa distinta a Mombasa è il cibo. Hicimos el tour de comida callejera con Joan y fue una grata sorpresa cuando degustamos todos los platos que nos iba ofreciendo en los diferentes lugares de la old town. Dulces, cafes, carnes y pescados, todo muy delicioso y abundante, aunque eramos 7 nos costó acabar todo lo que nos pusieron. Joan tenia muchos temas de conversación y era muy dinámica.

Joan was lovely and very knowledgeable about the food and culture of the coastal region. Having visited the coastal region but not having a guide to take me around this was such an amazing experience. We really enjoyed our food tour and ended up discovering my favorite meal “Mkorogo”. Would definitely recommend her.
I have had an amazing time with Joan. She was very patient and explained a lot. I enjoyed a beautiful sunset spot with her next to the sea while having a cup of coffee. She made sure we paid the correct price of the foods and that I got an amazing experience, testing different foods and flavours from street food vendors I would have not found on my own. Highly recommended!
