Una viaggiatrice solitaria che vive ad Amsterdam da 27 anni e guida turistica dal 2011. Amo condividere la bellezza della città di Amsterdam con i turisti e sono anche fondatrice di un blog di viaggio e ho trascorso il mio tempo libero scrivendo delle mie avventure di viaggio come i viaggi in solitaria in Tanzania e Kenya, le immersioni subacquee con gli squali balena in Thailandia o diventare istruttrice di immersioni subacquee a Bali. Viaggiare e immergersi in altre culture, comprendendo i loro stili di vita e le loro prospettive, è il pilastro mancante nei nostri sistemi educativi. Credo che viaggiare debba essere un'esperienza di immersione culturale. Costruire ponti tra paesi e culture rispettando le reciproche differenze non è vantaggioso solo per il viaggiatore, ma anche per le comunità ospitanti.
Pilar was a great tour guide. It was my first time in Amsterdam & her tour gave a great introduction to the city and its history.

Terrible experience, the guide never showed up nor notified me that she was canceling the tour, I was standing there in the rain for quite sometime, because I even arrived 20 minutes early... and waited for another 10 minutes past the starting time... sent her a message via the app (because she never reached out to provide me with any information, whereas all other guides in the guruwalk tours I've made, certainly have) but received no answer... in the end she sent me a message (after like 2 hours) saying it was my fault because I didn't receive her messages via WhatsApp or phone (sms), when she could of sent me a message through the app but that did not happen... just lame excuses from a person that clearly lacks professionalism... it's a shame because had I known, I could of taken another tour, as I really wanted to do it, but now thats not happening, as I'm leaving tomorrow and I just waisted my time with this one... just terrible...
