Hello everyone!! My name is Pablo I am a professional tour guide in Antigua Guatemala and its surrounding villages. I speak Spanish and English, I am 28 years old and I have been working in this industry for 6 years, doing historical walking tours that include visiting important monuments, ruins, and beautiful villages in the City of Antigua Guatemala. My experience doing these tours have been truly amazing and unforgettable because I have met a lot of people from all over the world, from different cultural and language backgrounds. So please join me and take a personalized and affordable walking tour that will be the experience of a lifetime for you and your friends!! I am looking forward to showing you why I love what I do! I'm so proud to be a Tour Guide in the most beautiful country: Guatemala, I'm in love with my country and all its beautiful places, art and history.
During this incredible experience, you will get to know the colorful towns of Antigua Guatemala, and visit the Chocolate and Wine workshop where you will be given an explanation of how they work in the colorful city of San Juan del Obispo. As well as a tasting of different artisanal wines and cocoa. In both places it is necessary to leave a tip to help the artisans of these picturesque places, and the growth of the community, to encourage them to continue moving forward and contributing to their economy. In both places there is a store to buy wine and cocoa, artisanal is not mandatory but it is suggested to give tips to the small artisans! Thank you 🙂
The towns to visit around are "SAN JUAN DE OBISPO AND SAN PEDRO LAS HUERTAS, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY !!!!! THANK YOU 🙂
Just to clarify my tour is totally independent from other tours and gurus, please read the tour description and schedule carefully, and the activities to be done to avoid confusion or inconvenience. My tour is at 1:15 pm and has no relation to the other tours offered on the platform. During my tour no market or museum is visited. Let me clarify. If you book a tour "similar" to mine and they cancel it, please do not relate or link my tour with other gurus, since some people have complained to me thinking that it is the "same" tour when it is not. Each guru works differently.
independent.
Then we will visit the colorful town of San Pedro. Las Huertas, known for its ultra-baroque church from the 16th century and its water tank, which is the largest in Antigua Guatemala. You will also visit a jade workshop where an expert will give you all the information about jade, which was very important for the Mayan civilization. During the tour we will travel by "Chicken Bus" so we will have to take public transportation from the bus terminal to get to these towns. It is really worth taking this tour because you will live a unique and unforgettable experience.
DURING THE TOUR, A BRIEF HISTORICAL REVIEW OF THE HISTORY OF ANTIGUA IS MADE ON THE "CHICKEN" BUS AND IMPORTANT POINTS ARE DISCUSSED ALONG THE WAY AS WELL AS INFORMATION ABOUT GUATEMALA IN GENERAL BEFORE ARRIVING AT THE VILLAGES.......
Places to visit during our village tour:
1) San Juan del Obispo , its church, its chapels, the Francisco Marroquín Palace, Wine and Chocolate workshop.
2) San Pedro las Huertas , its church, its enormous water tank and a wonderful jade tour where an expert explains the entire jade production process.
IT IS A TOUR that is really worth it . It is truly a unique and beautiful experience that you will never forget! And you will appreciate it. The only thing I need from you is time and the will to do it!
- Important! Put your correct phone number so I can easily recognize you, for example your area code (your country) + your phone number, and that's it, I can send you a WhatsApp,
- It is necessary that you confirm your participation in the tour beforehand. This is a tour on the outskirts of Antigua.
THIS IS A VISIT TO HOW ARTISAN PROCESSING OF COCOA, WINE AND JADE IS PRODUCED. AT THE SAME TIME, THE ARTISANS OFFER YOU THEIR PRODUCTS AND IT IS UP TO YOU TO BUY THEM. IT IS NOT MANDATORY.!!
THIS IS NOT A "SHOPPING TOUR" AS MANY SAY. IF I TAKE YOU TO THOSE PLACES IT IS TO LEARN THE WORK OF THE ARTISANS, IT IS NOT TO BUY OR BENEFIT ANYONE... PLEASE READ CAREFULLY WHAT THE TOUR IS ABOUT AND THE CONCEPT OF IT... TO AVOID MISUNDERSTANDINGS.
Meeting point: ✅ in front of the Macdonals Restaurant in Antigua Guatemala I am wearing a green jade necklace around my neck and a cap and my guide license, I will be certified as being outside, I only ask that you confirm your participation in advance. Thank you very much........
