I like working as tour guide and one of the most attractive aspect of my job is that I can make friends with people from any part of the country or of the world.
We start the tour from Piazza Plebiscito (located in the center of Naples, here I start a brief historical introduction of my city and I will tell you about the mysteries, the traditions of my people and something about food ...) where we see the Royal palace with the eight statues of the various monarchs who reigned in Naples and we visit the neoclassical basilica of San Francesco di Paola, we continue towards the San Carlo theater, the most famous in the world and in front of the theater there is the Galleria Umberto meeting center of the Neapolitans (we visit it). Then this street takes us to Piazza Municipio where we see the port and in the background Vesuvius and Castel Nuovo, of which I will tell you the mysteries ... of Queen Giovanna .... we continue towards the ancient Piazza Borsa passing through Corso Umberto for reach the historic center, the picturesque Spaccanapoli (where I was born) where the treasures become legend and we are in Piazza del Gesu 'where in the center stands the majestic spire of the Immaculate Conception; here we visit the gothic church of Santa Chiara which is the most loved by the Neapolitans and the baroque church of Gesu Nuovo and I will explain the mysteries of its imposing rusticated facade. Then a short stop for a coffee and a Neapolitan sfogliatella near Scaturchio, and in two minutes we are in Piazza Nilo the "body of Naples" I show you all the monuments that there are including the San Severo Chapel where there is a beautiful Veiled Christ, there I will speak of the extraordinary personality of Prince Raimondo Di Sangro. We continue to walk through the typical shops and we are in the famous street of the Neapolitan cribs "San Gregorio Armeno" and a stone's throw we are in Piazza San Gaetano the historic center of Naples during the Greek Roman era where the famous Underground Naples is located. After the square we find ourselves in front of the cathedral of S. Gennaro, the oldest baptistery of the west, which we visit and the tour ends here after I, as a good Neapolitan, tell you the story of the miracle of the blood of San Gennaro patron of Naples
