Travel back in time, to the twelfth century, with D. Sancho I, the colonist, and unravel his main concerns.
In the fourteenth century, get to know the magnificent Cathedral of Guarda and be dazzled by the interior and the view from the terraces.
The journey continues, discover the ancient streets by giant strides, cross the walls and centuries, until you return to the present and learn why the Rooster is judged and burned at the stake every year.

What is included/ excluded in the activity:
- "Histórias Com Passadas" guide during the walking route.
- RNAAT License No. 506/2022 from Turismo de Portugal and recognized by ICNF as nature tourism.
- Personal accident and liability insurance.
- Payment of the entrance ticket to the Cathedral (2,50 €)
- Meals or drinks during the walk, all consumption in any establishments eventually visited during the activity.
- Transport to the starting point of the walk.
- Anything that is not declared as included.
Additional useful information
- Please, when making the reservation, indicate the total number of people who will come (Numerous group bookings are not accepted - more than 15 visitors).
- If possible, please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour time, to start at the indicated time.
- The route is circular, beginning and ending next to the statue of D. Sancho I; presents an easy/moderate level of difficulty and has a total of 3.36 km, with an accumulated uneven of 108 m.
- No specific equipment is required to carry out this tour (e.g. walking sticks).
