Hi everyone, I'm Claudia! :) I come from Sardinia, where I worked as a tour guide for several years. The love for my land has allowed me to cultivate this wonderful job, allowing me to rediscover my hometown, Sassari, even better, and to meet people from different parts of the world. It is nice to be able to continue my passion also in Frankfurt, a city in which I have lived for more than six years and which in some way I feel I belong to me. In the Francofortine streets and alleys where some differences between Italian and German culture shine through, we will understand that we are not that different and that we also have many things in common! Which? Come and discover them with me! ;)
Welcome to Frankfurt! I will accompany you to discover some of the most important attractions of the city. We will meet at St. Bartholomew's Cathedral , then visit the Town Hall Square and the Town Hall. Then we will see St. Paul's Church , seat of the first German Democratic Parliament. A few steps away is the house where one of the most important writers in Europe lived: Johann Wolfgang von Goethe ; today the house is a museum open to the public. Continuing on you will see one of the oldest buildings in Frankfurt, the Hauptwache , and then you will visit, a little further away, the building that houses the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
The tour will conclude with a visit to the Alte Oper , a concert hall that was once used as an opera house.
I'll have a white bag with the picture of Frankfurt.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
