We are a group of university students who love Mexico and enjoy sharing the history, food, traditions and local face of the country to tourists. We love to continue preparing ourselves to give excellent attention as we would like to receive it to us.
On this tour, we will visit Iztapalapa, one of the most populated and vibrant neighborhoods in the city, with 1.8 million inhabitants and surrounded by an impressive chain of extinct volcanoes. 🌋
We will board the cable car 🚡 (Cablebús), the longest in the world , to enjoy panoramic views of the local architecture, winding streets and mountainous landscape ⛰. From above, we will appreciate the colorful murals and urban art that make Iztapalapa a unique place. 🎨
We will discover a park with incredible views and we will immerse ourselves in the musical rhythms that define the area: cumbia, sonidero and urban rock 🎤.
Throughout the tour, we will learn about the history of daily life in the east of the city at the beginning of the 20th century, the challenges its inhabitants faced with public services and how these problems were overcome to form a united community.
This tour is perfect for those who want to see an authentic and non-touristy part of the city . Enjoy the landscape without much effort , since we will only walk for 20 minutes; The rest of the time we will travel comfortably by metro and in the cable car cabins, admiring everything from above.

Meet us at the Parisian-style entrance of the Bellas Artes metro (on the left side of the palace). The guides will have a green shirt and umbrella.
