Cam Kim is a scenic rural island that is almost entirely free of tourists. This pleasant ride gives the cyclist a fantastic sampling of the countryside of Vietnam, meandering through stunning rural scenes, rice paddies, villages, fields of water buffalo, and local life. Cam Kim Bicycle Tour aims to provide unusual tours that create memories that will remain with you forever. Our tour experiences are heightened by the absence of souvenir sellers along the route so that all you see are the REAL friendly Vietnamese faces. It is truly local culture exploration.

  • Distance: 9 kilometers (The whole trip). 
 Itinerary: 
  • At first, your tour guide will guide you on a 20-minute cycling journey from the busy city center to the stunning rural area of Hoi An. During the journey, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings, including beautiful and peaceful natural scenes such as rice fields, buffaloes, cows, and rivers, as well as receive warm smiles and greetings from local residents.
  • Then, we will visit Huynh Ry’s handicraft workshop. Huynh Ry is the last person who has been maintaining traditional carpentry since the Vietnam War in 1975. You will see talented craftsmen carving furniture items from wood and creating pretty cute souvenirs.
  • You will also have the chance to try your hand at wood carving by sculpting your own name and then bring your creation home with you.
  • Lastly, the most interesting part in the village is learning how to make rice paper-noodles and weave sleeping mats with locals in their houses. They will demonstrate the process step by step, and then you will have the opportunity to try it yourself. Additionally, you will have a great chance to interact with them, sharing many interesting stories and learning about their customs.
