Hi everyone, My name is Sabi . I am new on guruwalk but I am doing the walking tour since 2016 in Jaipur. I've always loved travel. As a kid I couldn't wait to escape the city to spend weekends or summer vacations at my grandparent's farm or longer vacations at my uncle's house in different city. I travelled a lot in India while I was studying Electronics Engineering. I started as a network engineer in IT Company, but felt passionless about my work. What always shone through for me was travel, though, so I began taking short trips and discovered a world I never knew existed—one where I could think outside the box and truly become me. I’ve had a wonderful travel experiences , travelling with friends and my family especially the North India, South India, has my great interest as I find religion, history and culture very interesting and soul fulfilling . I always show my city with love and compassion. I do these walk in my free time in English & Spanish. Countries I visited are Spain, Mexico & London. Next countries wish to visit Italy, France, Turkey and Brazil
Welcome everyone. I want everyone to see the beautiful pink city also called Jaipur in an authentic way. My walk is focused on exploring the historic and old parts of the city; free tours are always a great way to immerse yourself in the history and culture of a city, especially in areas with rich historical significance. To learn about the city it is best to see the daily life of the locals. We are going to explore some fantastic places in the old city. Here are some places we are going to visit:
I will meet you opposite to Hawa Mahal, below tatto cafe stairs
We will see this icon of Jaipur tourism from outside and learn about the history behind this building. you can click some fantastic pictures for your instagram also.
This was the parade ground of the Jaipur state army. We will walk through this large courtyard and understand some facts.
This one is one of the biggest & busiest Krishna temple in the city and we will witness the AARTI Ceremony.
This place previously used as a coin mint of the city but now it converts into wholesale vegetable and flower market.
This was old evening market for royal families and traders from different cities, countries to sell.
This is one of the oldest Lassi place for locals and you can also taste a delicious local lassi.
At this place we will walk through some of the busiest colourful wedding market where you are going to witness clothes, gifts and decorative items.
We will walk into the local market which is also famous as a wedding market. You are going to see the various things which locals use in wedding
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
