Tour description

A walking tour of Rabat, Morocco, allows you to explore the city's rich history and culture. The journey begins at Rabat Ville train station and includes a visit to the Hassan Tower unfinished minaret, and the  Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the ultimate resting place for Moroccan King Mohammed V and his two sons. Then visit the Udayas Kasbah for a panoramic view of the city and ocean. Explore the Andalusian Gardens, a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the Mediterranean climate. Finally, explore Rabat Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the city's ancient old town.

    Mausolée Mohammed V

    the Grand Islamic mausoleum in Rabat, was built between 1961 and 1971, following the death of King Mohammed V in 1961. The mausoleum was designed by the Vietnamese architect Nguyen Viet Thu, and construction was carried out by Moroccan artisans and craftsmen. it features impressive Islamic architecture, intricate marble work. The tombs are made of white onyx and situated beneath a large dome.
