Hello, I'm Víctor Arceo, I am a general guide accredited by the Secretary of Tourism of Mexico. Study a career as a tourist guide at the itecos school. I have 33 years working in the tourism industry. During these years I have worked for different travel agencies managing convention, private and local excursion groups. I have worked in different archaeological zones in Mexico and Central America. I like my city of Mérida and I want to take you to know its historical, cultural and gastronomic wealth. I hope to see you soon so I can welcome you to my state.
Hello welcome to my city. I invite you to get to know Yucatecan gastronomy, which is very rich and varied. Savoring the delicious cochinita pibil, the black filling, the oriental escabeche and stuffed cheese is a delight. We have a wide gastronomy that we taste on this tour that we begin at the García Rejon craft market and gastronomic bazaar. Then we will continue in the grain portal. Place where corn that was produced in the state was stored. We will visit the city museum (former post office building), the park praised rosado and we will finish at the markets of San Benito and Lucas de Gálvez. Places with a long gastronomic tradition and fruit shopping where we will smell the different smells of fruit, food and flowers. Don't forget to bring cash at least $300. since credit or debit CARDS are not accepted in these places. Bring enough to enjoy different stews or whatever you like to buy. The dishes can cost you about $100. Come with me and together we will enjoy these beautiful places
I will be next to the cathedral church of San Ildefonso. I will bring an umbrella
