Greetings! I'm Akaki Sulava, a proud local of Kutaisi, my beloved Hometown where I took my first breath in the vibrant 90s. By profession, I am an air traffic controller, but my true passion lies in showcasing the beauty of Kutaisi through my free walking tours since 2018, and organizing captivating Soviet Tours in western Georgia since 2019. My heart beats with excitement as I have the opportunity to connect with fascinating individuals from all corners of the globe. The love I hold for my city inspired me to embark on this journey, allowing me to share its hidden gems and provide a unique exploration experience to the community of travelers. Witnessing the joy and satisfaction on their faces at the end of each tour fills me with an indescribable sense of fulfillment. As an avid traveler myself, I wholeheartedly support the concept of free walking tours worldwide and have actively participated in many of them. Being able to contribute to the development of my city is not only a way of expressing gratitude for the enriching experiences I've gained, but also a chance to give back and unveil the wonders of Kutaisi to others. Join me on a memorable journey through the charming streets of Kutaisi, where history, culture, and adventure intertwine. Together, let's create lasting memories and celebrate the essence of travel.
This free walking tour is a tour of a historical or cultural site undertaken on foot in Kutaisi. The tour can last under two hours and 10 minutes. This tour is organized by me as a local citizen from the oldest Georgian City. This is the first and only free walking tour since 2018 running in Kutaisi. We appreciate our guests and are happy to see you in our city. We think that all our guests should have the opportunity to explore Kutaisi regardless of their budget.
We provide 3 parts of the tour that covers almost every sightseeing of the city. It is full of recommendations and helps every type of tourist to plan their journey in Georgia. Our aim is to share all the information that we got from books, elder people, libraries, and the internet in a beautiful manner.
The tour has one mini-break, where you will taste pretzel-style pastry from our hometown, of course for free.
We can not wait to see you in Kutaisi to become a member of our tour.

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
