Hi! I'm Bita :) I've been a guide in Tehran for more than 2 years. I studied architecture and because of my interest in art and architecture and also the history of old buildings, I decided to work as a tour guide in Tehran. I work as a freelance tour guide and perform a different kinds of walking tours in Tehran for the people who are interested in architecture and history.

The tour starts at Imam Khomeini Square we walk down Bab honeymoon Street and head toward Golestan Palace which is the most beautiful Ghajari building in old Tehran and also is one of the UNESCO's world heritage sites in Iran.
In Golestan palace, I will tell you about the history and beautiful architecture of this place and after visiting "takhte marmar, Talar Salam, Talar Ayneh and the main palace" we walk across Shamsolemare which was the tallest building in Tehran more than 200 years ago and also Badgir building, here I explain about windcachers in Iran and how they works.
After a short walk through Golestan garden and getting to know about it's architecture and history we will continue our walking tour toward "Imam Khomeini Mosque" which also called "masjed shah" that is Second jame mosque in history of tehran.
After visiting Imam khomeini mosque we are going to taste Felafel, which is one of the most popular streetfood of iran that makes of spicy chickpea paste.
After about 3 or 4 hours our walking tour will be end in Marvi bazar, at Naserkhosro street.
Useful information:
📍Start point: imamkhomeini metro station in Imam khomeini Square (at the begining of bab homayoon street)
📍End point: Marvi Bazar at the end of Naserkhosro street is close to Panzdah E Khordad metro station.
I will be at the beginning of Bab Homayoon St. on the right side near Imam khomeini metro station with a little pink box in my hand.
