We are a small group of local guides that want to share what we love about Sofia.
In this workshop, nature meets culinary!
Led by the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation, the participants will mix the unique Bulgaria gourmet salt "Fleure De Sel" from Atanasovsko Lake Lagoon with a bouquet of fresh green herbs.
Everyone will prepare their combination of spices for salads, fish, meat, and lean dishes and will "close" them in glass jars. The activity will end with stylish packaging and decoration of "nature in a box".
If you want to impress yourself, your family, and your friends with new tastes and aromas, and if you cherish the uniqueness of Bulgarian nature, then this workshop is for you!
Participation in the workshop supports the social enterprise "Bulgarian Nature" of the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation. It specifically supports the protection of one of the rarest habitats and the richest place for birds in our country – Atanasovsko Lake.
It also supports salt making - one of the most ancient professions and saltpans as an intangible cultural heritage.
