We are a community based organisation in kibera slum Nairobi Our main aim to do this is to show people our community and in the process help in supporting the less fortunate families in our community by donating any amount
Hello everyone and welcome to discover Kibera.
We are a community based organisation in Kibera and we would like to have you and show you around.
We will also be showing you the kind of activities we doing as a way of giving back to the community and maybe we will also be sharing with you the kind of projects we are doing.
The tour basically will mainly focus on how Kibera came into existence and what led to the development of the slum, the community's way of life.

We will have a look of the main bus station in the community and the matatu culture
We will be passing by one the biggest primary school located in the community
We will also be visiting the oldest railway line in Kenya passing through the community
This is where we will take more time walking around the community as we will also interact with the locals
The tour will end at our office where we will take a small rest and interact more again with our visitors

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
