I am Tamim, born and raised in Amman. I have been here and there but the heart always goes back to the mother land. Hi everyone and welcome! This free walking tour will be covering most of downtown Amman.
First, we will visit the fruits and vegetables market, and stop to take photos for the Husseini Mosque (the oldest in Amman est, 1923).
Walking around the shops near the mosque, then taking a walk in the Gold Souk.
Then I will point to the restaurants in the area and explain the type of food that is being served and the payment method for each one.
Our next stop will be the spice market.
On Fridays, we will be visiting Souq Aljumaa (Friday's market)
I will be in the reception area of the Arab tower hotel, ask for Tamim
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
