Tour description

Hello! :) I'm Lucía, Guru from Ulm and I want to welcome you to the Capital of the Niebla Empire, yes, it sounds a bit strange but that's what the Germans themselves call it, although with an appearance of the major star of less than 1700 hours in its greatest stage duration, it is a city of charm, gothic magic and sparrows.
I want to be able to share with many the secrets of this city and its nooks and crannies that, of course, have a history. I am sure that it will be a pleasant surprise to see how, despite a language barrier (for many) such as German, you can see how events unite us and this place, with its imposing Danube River, the birthplace of no one more than that (a certain) Albert Einstein and the highest Cathedral in the world will remain in the memory of those who visit it, as a place of dreams and contrasts.

What will we see?
Among so many places that we can visit and I am sure that they will be memorable, we will visit:

1. The Danube
, the river that crosses up to 10 countries; a view of Neu Ulm, two neighbors from two different states.
2. Fisherman's Quarter, not only is it history that is housed here, but also the beauty of an architecture that will make you feel like you are in a movie.
3. The Crooked House. Das Schiefe Haus. Vestige of the 14th century, now converted into a hotel, a key will show you the 9° inclination.
4. Butchers Tower. Metzergturm. A place with a legend, on the border of Ulm and Neu Ulm, I will tell you the story of a cheating butcher.
5. Town Hall "Ulmer Rathaus" . A majestic building for those who appreciate detail, in its paintings you will be able to glimpse stories, regulations and an astronomical clock, as well as a nod to Johanes Keppler.
6. Ulm Cathedral. One of the most anticipated attractions of the tour, although we see it imposingly greeting the clouds from the entrance to the city, the internal tour, the solemnity and amazement will not be long in coming. We will not climb to the top of the tower, but we left it last so that whoever wants to can do it.

Duration: 1h 30m - 2 hours.

We can stop for a coffee, pretzel or real local beer, but it will be at your own expense.

The tour is available to all those who have the ability to walk and learn, as well as especially those who are fluent in Spanish and English.

See you soon!
