I am a professional wedding celebrant who has officiated weddings all over New York City, and in many other cities. Now, I also do walking tours, as a Licensed NYC Sightseeing Guide. I love meeting new people, walking around and sharing my knowledge of NYC. I've lived in NYC since 1992. I have traveled all over Europe and done walking tours in many cities. I like to keep my tours fun. I'm also involved with the Guides Association of NY and with Big Apple Greeter.
A Sane Person's Guide to Midtown Manhattan: Famous theaters, old buildings, incredible plazas and squares...midtown has it all, but it can be overwhelming. Learn the art of New York Local Zen.
Practice your New York Local Zen near all the famous sites, including The Ed Sullivan Theater. Times Square, Shubert Alley, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral and Grand Central Terminal. I'll give you informational highlights, tips about Broadway shows and plenty of local color.
For over 30 years, I've lived in NYC. I will weave my own story into the story of midtown. Yes, it is possible to live here and not be overwhelmed. Come see how locals keep calm in the middle of the busiest city in the world.
I will be the only person hanging out in front of the theater wearing a brightly colored hat. I may even be the only one juggling.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
