I am Irina, an art historian and local guide. I love travelling and visiting places related to historical heritage both in Bulgaria and abroad. I enjoy exploring nature and trekking in the mountains. I am very sociable and enjoy making new friends.
Sofia, one of the oldest capitals in Europe, is a place where culture and mystery intertwine. I invite you to join me for an unforgettable adventure!
Our tour will not be just a walk, but an exciting journey through the iconic places. We will visit the majestic Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, a symbol of the Bulgarian Orthodox faith. We will discover the Rotunda of St. George, the oldest building in Sofia, which holds many secrets of the past. We will admire the Russian Church of St. Nicholas, famous for its beautiful architecture and stop at the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, a jewel of Bulgarian culture etc.
We will also learn about key moments in Bulgarian history, including the foundation of the First Bulgarian Kingdom, Byzantine and Ottoman influence, liberation and national revival.
I will be near the big statue of Sofia, located in the very center of the city.
